It All Starts in the Soil.
Higher-protein edamame doesn't happen by accident. It's grown — on our own farms, in one of China's finest soybean regions, with science on our side.
Rooted in Suzhou, Anhui
Our farms are located in Suzhou, Anhui — part of the fertile Huang-Huai-Hai plain that has grown soybeans for generations. The climate here is warm, the growing season is long, and the soil is naturally suited to producing soybeans with a fuller, higher-protein profile. This is not a place we buy from; it is land we farm ourselves. Growing our own crop means we control everything that matters — the variety we plant, the way it's cultivated, and the exact moment we harvest — so that quality is built in from the very first step, not inspected in at the last.`
Bred for Protein — With a National Academician`
What truly sets our farms apart is what's happening at the genetic level. We have signed a six-year research partnership with the team of Academician Gai Junyi — a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and one of China's most respected authorities on soybean genetics and breeding, based here in the Suzhou region. Together, we are cross-breeding new edamame varieties selected specifically for higher protein and higher yield, with clear targets: a 10% increase in per-acre yield and a further 10% increase in protein content beyond our already-high levels.
For a buyer, this is a rare kind of assurance. It means your supply isn't standing still — the raw material behind your product is being actively improved by one of the best agricultural scientists in the country. Most edamame on the market is a commodity. Ours is a crop we are engineering to be better, season after season.
